I’m so excited to share this Italian editorial. When I’m in Italy, it doesn’t take much to make me feel inspired to create. The language, the food, the warmth of the Italian people and their respect for quality & beauty are but a few of the reasons I love it. So, when Beatrice stepped out of Villa Cetinale in this beautifully textured MadeBride gown, my heart skipped a beat. This first image wasn’t posed or planned, she simply stepped into the light & I pressed the shutter. And it’s quickly become one of my favorite images from my time in Tuscany.
Over the afternoon, we captured fashion-inspired images of Beatrice, and in between shots, I explored the gardens around Villa Cetinale. I discovered olive branches with shiny black olives, a bell tower peeking out from among the olive & Cyprus trees and sculptures that lined the garden walls. Capturing these portraits made me feel like I stepped back in time to capture a contessa enjoying the grounds of her Villa. Keep scrolling to see more from this Italian editorial.
