I loved meeting up with Erica & Alan at Vickery Creek Falls in Roswell! I have long loved the look of waterfall photos, and Erica & Alan were the perfect adventurous couple to make the dream a reality! We met up just after sunrise (before all the tourists arrived), and the light was simply beautiful!

Katie and Nathan’s wedding at the Graduate in Athens, Georgia was such special day! Katie and Nathan’s love story began in Athens, so it was only appropriate that their friends and family from near and far gather in the place where it all began!  I have loved Katie’s excited & magnetic personality from when we first chatted on the phone last spring, and I absolutely loved capturing her as a joyful bride!

Colleen and David’s wedding at the Cathedral of Christ the King and the Carlos Ballroom at the Hellenic Center in Atlanta was so much fun! I first met Colleen last summer when she was a bridesmaid in Emily & Austin’s wedding (also at the gorgeous Cathedral of Christ the King)! I love Colleen & David’s story. They first met in 6th grade!

Betsy & Shawn’s wedding at In the Woods in Rockmart, Georgia was such a beautiful day! I first met Betsy last year when I started working at the Georgia House of Representatives as their photographer for legislative session, and I had the chance to meet Shawn during session as well! I immediately loved the pair together!

Annie and David’s wedding at the Oaks in Madison, Georgia was such an incredible day! And the cherry on top is that it’s being featured over on the Southern Weddings blog today!

I love the way Annie describes their story, “Two people from opposite sides of the country met through chance, became fast friends, went on countless trips and adventures together, and fell in love along the way.”

The Cator Woolford Gardens is one of my favorite portrait spots in Atlanta, and once again – it did not disappoint! I recently met up with Wenjie (who you may remember from Rosalina & Doug’s wedding) and her adorable husband Futhum at CWG for maternity photos! These two are absolutely adorable together and are going to be the best parents!

I love that Charity and Will decided to turn a long weekend trip to Atlanta into the perfect occasion to take engagement photos! And St Cecilia in Buckhead was the perfect location for this adorable duo to enjoy a few drinks at the gorgeous bar and relax together in a natural setting while I captured the laughs and sweet whispers in between!

Happy Spring, friends! I love this time of the year when the air warms up and the flowers and trees start blooming! So when Angela suggested taking engagement photos at Atlanta National Golf Club in the spring, I knew it’d be absolutely beautiful! In addition to be a gorgeous spot that Angela & Piyush frequent when they play golf together, Angela’s grandfather was also the president of Atlanta National when she was a kid!

One of the things I love most about being a wedding photographer is the relationships I’ve been able to form over the course of my business! Getting to know Danielle Cartwright and her lovely team at Detailed I Do’s has been such a joy and highlight of the past year!

The ocean has long been my special place to recharge and rest. My Dad grew up near Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, so my childhood summers were spent riding the waves, making sandcastles and looking for seashells! It holds so many special memories for me, and all my stress just melts away as soon as my toes settle into the sand. Winter’s shorter days and cold temps have me longing for the summer sun and time at the beach even more, so it seemed appropriate that I take a moment to revisit this beachy bridal shoot from last August on Jekyll Island.
