Ashley Kate & Will’s St. Simons Island wedding was recently featured in Destination I Do, and I’m thrilled to finally be able to share my favorites from this gorgeous weekend in the Golden Isles.

Rather than have a wedding in their hometown of Atlanta, Ashley Kate & Will opted to have a destination wedding with their family in friends in St. Simons Island, GA, where Ashley Kate grew up vacationing with her family. A lover of all things coastal (like me), she loved the idea of having a relaxed celebration that could tie into days of relaxing & celebrating together (more like being on vacation) rather than simply celebrating on one day in the city.

As Ashley Kate said, “Choose a destination that you love and do not think twice about it! Your loved ones will show up to support you no matter how near or far”. And that they did. Ashley Kate & Will’s day was a celebration to remember surrounded by their closest friends and family.

From portraits at Avenue of the Oaks to their seaside ceremony at King of Prince and tented party that lasted into the night, Ashley Kate & Will’s wedding was filled with the magic that is summer on St. Simons Island!
