The vibrant colors and romantic vibe of this styled Charleston elopement are the perfect cure to chase my winter blues away! Charleston has long held a special place in my heart – even capturing the title of my favorite US city! So when the opportunity came to head back to this coastal gem with some of my favorite vendor friends, I jumped at the chance! With Rainbow Row as inspiration, the lovely Danielle with Detailed I Do’s designed a shoot full of bright, happy colors that oozes with romance! And, it’s such a privilege to have our work featured in both A Low Country Wedding and Bridal Musings!
Before heading over to Magnolia Plantation (which will come in part 2), we kicked things off with dreamy portraits along Charleston’s Rainbow Row with our lovely models (and real life couple) Paula & Ron. Not only did I enjoy capturing this couple’s natural chemistry, but I love the styles they wore as well! This Sarah Seven gown is such a lovely modern silhouette, and what about the Sam Edelman suede fuchsia heels?! Absolutely adorable! A pair of modern Kendra Scott earrings and a stunner of a ring by Susie Saltzman round out this bridal look! And for our Groom, the Black Tux came through again with this modern look featuring a hunter green jacket and polka dot bowtie! How could we do a Charleston shoot without a bowtie?! More color was introduced in the invitation suite by the Impressionist; I especially loved the bright pink touches in the Save the Date envelop, escort cards and silk ribbon to tie the wedding invitation pieces together! Gorgeous! Megan Dunlap, our floral design maven, created a stunning bouquet and boutonnière full of gorgeous texture and even more bright color! Our lovely hair & makeup artist Margaret Snider created a chic and romantic look, and I adored kicking the shoot off with some beauty shots before capturing portraits of the couple together in this historic part of town!
Y’all, isn’t this bouquet stunning?! Such a gorgeous statement with the modern lines of this Sarah Seven gown!
Thinking about adding your favorite furry friend to your wedding day entourage? Why not have her decked out in a floral collar like this?
This Susie Saltzman ring is my favorite of all time! Isn’t it stunning?!
Y’all, these laughs are 100% genuine & I couldn’t love this moment more if I tried!
It just doesn’t get much more romantic than this!
This boutonnière matched the colors and southern vibe of Rainbow Row to a T!
Stay tuned for part 2 (featuring the stunning Magnolia Plantation) coming very soon!
