Lindsey and Chad’s early spring wedding at the Tate House in Tate, Georgia was the perfect way to kick off spring wedding season! I loved seeing Lindsey and Chad with their friends and family on the wedding day; they were both so full of joy and had the biggest smiles on their faces! They share the sweetest love, and I really enjoyed seeing how kind and loving they are together! Â I adored getting to capture their Late Summer Engagement session in Atlanta, and the wedding was even more stunning!
The day began with hair and makeup being done in the Bride’s cabin at the Tate House. Music and laughter filled the air as the girls got ready, and once in their dresses, there was a lot of fun twirls happening! Then, Lindsey got into her gorgeous gown with the help of her Mom, and y’all, I absolutely fell in love with the back of Lindsey’s gown! The entire design was simply stunning! Once she was ready, it was time for the bridesmaids’ reveal, and I just adored seeing how happy and excited all the girls were upon seeing Lindsey as a Bride!
The weather had been a little iffy all week, but y’all, God answers prayer, and it didn’t rain on us for any of the portrait time or the sparkler exit! So thankful! The light was soft and stunning for Lindsey’s bridal portraits, and I loved getting to shoot all over the Tate House property while Corryn captured Chad and the guys playing poker and hanging out together!
Then, against the stunning backdrop of the Tate House, Lindsey and Chad shared a sweet First Look together! I love when couples opt to see each other before the ceremony, and we were so fortunate to be able to capture photos of Lindsey and Chad with the soft mountains behind them on one side and a gorgeous sculpture garden on the other! Then, the wedding party joined us, and like I mentioned, Lindsey and Chad really lit up! Some of my favorite smiles and laughs happened during wedding party pictures! What a sweet group!
Once pictures were complete, it was time to head to the Pavilion for the ceremony! Walls of windows, a spring floral arch and arrangements lining the aisle were reflected in the shiny marble floor. It was such a stunning backdrop for Lindsey and Chad’s ceremony! After the ceremony, we took pictures with the family and took a few more romantic evening couple photos before heading inside for the reception where guests dined and danced the night away!
Lindsey and Chad, thank you for the privilege of capturing your day! It was beautiful and lovely, and I adore that I was able to experience and capture day one of your marriage! I’m so excited for this next step in your adventure together, and I hope the photos will always bring you back to the beauty and joy of your wedding day! Much love and appreciation – Carrie Joy
