White Oaks Barn Romantic Fall Wedding

Becca and Dustin’s wedding at White Oaks Barn in Dahlonega, Georgia was absolutely stunning and loads of fun, a perfect reflection of these two! After being together for almost a decade, to say this day has long been anticipated is an understatement! Becca & Dustin met while at college at Emory and got engaged at Blue Lake in Roosevelt National Forest near Boulder, Colorado last summer. I loved capturing their engagement photos at Lullwater Park last December, and the wedding was even more wonderful!

One of the things Becca loves most about Dustin is the way he makes her laugh, and I have to say that some of my favorite photos of the entire day are when these two were laughing together! So much Joy! They also both really have a great heart for others. I always love capturing the sweet interactions between a couple and their family and friends during the wedding, and Becca & Dustin were no exception!

The day began with Becca and the girls having lunch together at White Oaks Barn after hair and makeup was completed. It’s so refreshing to see that down time built into the day, and I focused on capturing all Becca’s bridal details while the girls hung out! Then, Becca slipped into her gown with her Mom, sisters and bridesmaids’ all around her! Once she was ready, Becca & her Dad also shared the sweetest Father/Daughter First Look! It was so hard to keep from tearing up while photographing her sweet Dad wiping away tears! Dustin also hung out at the cabin with his Groomsmen before heading out for the First Look! Both Becca and Dustin were absolutely overflowing with joy, and I loved capturing their happiness upon seeing each other!

After finishing wedding party and immediate family photographs, it was time for the Ketubah signing with the Rabbi followed by their meaningful Jewish ceremony. Against the stunning backdrop of the north Georgia mountains, Becca and Dustin celebrated with several unique traditions from circling each other to the seven blessings given by their family and friends! After the ceremony, we finished family photos and then took a few more Bride and Groom photos in that magical golden hour light! Y’all, I might have been freaking out a little bit! Lol. But seriously, it was so gorgeous, and perfect for photos with that beautiful mountain view! As the sun started to set, everyone headed inside for dinner and dancing! All in all, it was an absolutely beautiful and fun day; the perfect way to celebrate this wonderful couple!

Becca and Dustin – I’m so happy for you guys! You two have been so much fun to be around, and I loved capturing the joy that overflowed between you! Thank you for trusting me with capturing your beautiful wedding day! It’s been such an honor not only getting to know you two, but your wonderful families and friends as well!
