Lauren and Jorge’s wedding at Montaluce Winery in Dahlonega, GA was a dream. From our first meeting, I was impressed by Lauren’s taste and sense of style, and we bonded over a love for beautiful florals and photography! Both Lauren & Jorge are absolutely a joy to be around! I knew when we met for their engagement session (where we spent the entire evening laughing) I knew their wedding was going to be a fun one! I just adore the way Jorge can make Lauren laugh, and from the First Look to wedding party photos, we were laughing together while one or the other made jokes – it made for such a fun day!

The day started in a gorgeous villa overlooking the lush vines at the end of Montaluce’s property. As we pulled into the lane, I noticed that even the clouds were perfect! Hydrangeas graced the front walk and were the perfect little addition to Lauren’s elegant details from Kate Spade and Badgley Mischka. Surrounded by her Mom, sisters and maid of honor, Lauren slipped into her custom Morilee gown. After a touching first look with her Dad, Lauren & Jorge shared their First Look along the edge of the vineyard, and afterwards, we continued photos through the picture-perfect vines!

The ceremony took place under a gorgeous tree against the backdrop of the vineyard. Lauren & Jorge opted to share personal vows as well as traditional ones – and the result was the perfect amount of humor and sentimentality. I don’t think I was the only one who shared a laugh and moments later wiped away a sweet tear.

After the ceremony and family photos, we took sunset photos in the vineyard, and I felt like a kid at Christmas! I just love that Lauren & Jorge prioritized their love for photography and made sure we had time for photos in beautiful sunset light! It was gorgeous! The party then transitioned inside where friends and family enjoyed wine and dinner before heading onto the patio for dancing! We were also graced with several Colombian traditions during the evening, and Katie & I even got sombreros! It was such a fun party – the perfect ending to a perfect day!

Lauren & Jorge – I’m so amazed by your love for each other, and I love the way your relationship began in friendship! The best loves begin that way, in my opinion! You two have the gift of humor together, and I love the fun you have with one another! I’m sure they’ll be many more fun, laughter-filled days in your future!
