Syd and Kyle’s relationship began in Athens, so it was only fitting that their wedding be celebrated in the city where it all started! Syd & Kyle met while at school at UGA. What began as running teammates blossomed into a beautiful relationship. Their years in Athens were full of discovery – from becoming foodies to discovering their favorite bands! Life after college has included a move to Seattle and adventures on the West Coast which made celebrating their wedding with family and friends back in Athens even sweeter!
The wedding took place on a perfect fall day in this sweet, southern town. It started with a flurry of activity and excitement as the girls prepped for the exciting day ahead! Syd slipped into her Impression Bridal gown with her Mom before one of the sweetest, most emotional bridesmaids’ reveal of all time (just wait until you see the girls’ expressions below!). Kyle and Syd shared their First Look in the garden at the Taylor Grady House while golden light filtered through the trees. Later, family and friends gathered at the Seney-Stovall Chapel for the ceremony where Syd and Kyle made it official! Then, following some gorgeous golden-hour portraits, it was back to the Taylor Grady house for what Syd & Kyle affectionately coined their “Black Tie BBQ!” String lights lit the dance floor as everyone partied into the night!
Syd & Kyle, I love the way you two really infused your personalities into the day! From the venues you chose to the music that accompanied the day, it was all very ‘Syd and Kyle!’ I love the way you two laugh together, the silly dance moves (even during portraits) and the way that your inner happiness spilled onto the entire day! Being a part of your day felt like witnessing two dear friends wed; thank you both for the privilege of being a part of your lives during this season! I felt welcomed into your inner circle and an honorary part of your wedding party, which is such an honor! I hope the photos always bring you back to the joy you felt on your special day!
