I love this story of the beginning of Lauren & Michael’s relationship as told by Jenna, Lauren’s Maid of Honor and best friend. The girls decided to go to Chili’s for a friends date on Valentines Day. Through a series of events, Michael ended up texting Lauren that night, and she panicked, not sure how to respond. Jenna, being the sweet and helpful friend that she is tried to calm Lauren down with this encouragement, “Just text him back already! It’s not like you’re going to get married!” Haha! Isn’t that amazing? She said that even though she didn’t know then, it didn’t take her long to see Lauren & Michael were made for each other!
Lauren & Michael had a gorgeous fall wedding at Foxhall Resort’s Legacy Lookout! The day was cool and calm. The periodic clouds were broken by the most gorgeous rays of light during Lauren & Michael’s beautiful outdoor ceremony! In fact, guests were in awe of the fact that you could see a rainbow, the sun and the moon all at the same time! Then, during Lauren & Michael’s portraits, the day was capped off by the most gorgeous sunset I’ve ever seen at a wedding! It was so vibrant and amazing that it almost didn’t seem real! Just wait to see you the portraits!
Lauren & Michael – I love that God is at the center of your relationship. While getting to know you guys throughout the wedding planning process, it was easy to see that He was the foundation of your relationship! In Him you guys have a strength beyond your years, and I love the joy and peace you’ve each found in Him that spills over into the lives of those around you! From the rainbow during the ceremony to that amazing sunset, it’s easy to see God’s presence on your big day! Thank you so much for the honor of capturing your wedding! Much love & appreciation – Carrie Joy
