Bride on the steps of the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center

Katie’s Bridal Session at the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center in Atlanta, GA was the perfect way to end 2020. We met on what was one of the nicest December days I’ve ever experienced – with temperatures in the high sixties, it was incredibly warm & pleasant, even for a city that has […]

From the moment I first talked to Elizabeth on the phone, I just loved her. Her infectious laughter made me smile, and her love & joy came through in how she described her & Parker’s relationship. Elizabeth & Parker met through their incredible friend group at Georgia Southern, and from the beginning, I knew how much those friends meant to them! They had a total of 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen (the biggest wedding party I’ve ever photographed!) – as well as 3 adorable flower girls! And, I absolutely loved the camaraderie – the jokes, the laughter, the love among friends. Friendship truly is a special gift!

After a lot of unexpected rain the first part of the month, Elizabeth & Parker were blessed with amazing sun & simply gorgeous weather for their wedding day! With the Georgia Freight Depot and the capital building as backdrops, the entire day was beautiful! I loved the classic navy and white color scheme, the men in bowties and the cute cake topper with a nod to their dog Charlie that you may remember from their Engagement session! The 12 South Band really brought the party, and guests sent the newlyweds off through a sea of sparklers!

Elizabeth & Parker – When I look at y’all I see a relationship with friendship at it’s core – and that is so valuable! Continue to care for & support one another. And remember – there’s strength in the laughter you share! Thank you so, so much for opening your hearts and your lives to us! Tanner & I (and Allison too) have loved getting to know and work with you guys! Y’all are such a joyful couple! Enjoy the photos & may they always bring the memories & joy of your wedding day back into your hearts and minds. Much love & appreciation – Carrie Joy

One of my favorites! Isn’t Elizabeth stunning? I adore this portrait of her on film! 🙂

The capital building in Atlanta was a perfect backdrop to Elizabeth & Parker’s day! In a little garden next to the Georgia Freight Depot, Elizabeth & Parker shared a heart-warming First Look! I love when a couple opt to see each other before the ceremony! 🙂

Don’t you just love Elizabeth overflowing joy here? Oh – be still my heart…

Aren’t Elizabeth & Parker a gorgeous couple?!! I love how sweet & playful they are together!

After some photos with the wedding party, it was time for the Ceremony! Lanterns overflowing with flowers lined the aisle as Parker & Elizabeth were officially wed!

I love this sweet moment Elizabeth had with her Dad as she began walking down the aisle! And check out Parker’s excited expression – isn’t it amazing?! 🙂

Just moments after the ceremony, Elizabeth shows off her wedding ring to the flower girls!

Love this candid photo Allison captured of Emily Sue getting down with the 12 South Band!

Isn’t Elizabeth & Parker’s getaway car classy? I love the vintage charm!

Congratulations, Elizabeth & Parker! Your wedding was incredible!
