Amber & Steve’s wedding earlier this month at Willow Creek Falls & Vineyard was one for the books. True to Amber’s vision, the entire day teemed with soft, pale spring colors. The day flowed effortlessly and was as relaxed as they come. In keeping with their fun personalities,  Amber and Steve had lawn games available for their family and friends  – corn hole, lawn darts, ring toss, ladder golf and even giant Jenga! Their sweet ceremony in front of the lake was officiated by Steve’s brother Jimi and resulted in many laughs and a few misty eyes! Then, after a rocking party, friends and family sent the newlyweds off with a romantic lantern release!
Amber & Steve, it has been incredibly exciting to see the vision you had for your wedding day come to life! You are an amazingly  fun & vibrant couple, and I have loved getting to know you. I adored being able to capture you both (and your fun family and friends) & wish you many happy years ahead!

I adored shooting some black and white film while Amber was getting ready. Don’t you love the way film makes this shot of Amber and her bridesmaids instantly classic?!

I’m obsessed with this frame. I love capturing the vibrancy of florals, but with just a couple shots left on this  roll of black and white film, I captured this monochromatic image of Amber with her bouquet. I love the quality and texture in it!

I ADORE when a couple decides to have a First Look! Steve’s expression upon seeing his bride for the first time is amazing!

I also love this one of Amber’s excited expression & how about that bouquet? Marlipaige Floral Designs did an awesome job!

Love this sweet laugh between the happy couple just moments after the First Look. Aren’t Amber & Steve adorable together?!

Steve’s expression is proof that having a First Look doesn’t take away from the moment when you see your bride coming down the aisle!

I adore outdoor ceremonies! Amber & Steve’s lakeside ceremony was perfection!

Mid-ceremony, Amber & Steve sealed a box containing wine and letters to each other that they will open on their 5 year Wedding Anniversary! How cool is that?

Loved being able to grab a few more frames at sunset of the new Mr. & Mrs.! And then, since they’d done a First Look, it was off to enjoy the Cocktail Hour! 🙂

The lantern release was so magical! What a perfect way to end such an incredible day. Congrats, Amber & Steve!
