Jessica & John’s wedding holds such a dear place in my heart. I first went to Pine Mountain and met the Pair family with Morgan Trinker at Laura & Bryant’s wedding back in 2012. It was an amazing weekend where Morgan & I discovered one of the sweetest Southern towns in existence, and we got to photograph in one of the most beautiful Catholic Churches ever. Fast-forward to the beginning of 2014, when I talked with Jessica on the phone & realized that her fiancé was Bryant’s younger brother John & that their ceremony was in the same beautiful church in Pine Mountain! To say I was excited is an understatement! 🙂
Jessica & John’s day was perfect in so many ways. First, it was so incredibly warm and sunny for a winter wedding in February that it had me feeling like spring had arrived early just for Jessica & John. It was also full of some of the most warm & friendly people you will ever meet and chock full of moments that had my cheeks hurting by the end of the day from smiling so much! From the gorgeous light-filled ceremony at Christ the King to the reception at Oakhurst Farm the day was simply fun. I want to add a big thanks to my amazing second photographer Kristina who helped me capture the day (some of whose images you’ll see below).
Jessica & John, I feel incredibly blessed to have documented your gorgeous wedding day. I loved being around you so much that by the end of the day my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. Jessica, your smile really lit up the entire day. Your personality sparkles even more than all your sparkly details. And John, you are sweetness to the core. I have no doubt that you both will continue to bless many people as you continue on this journey called married life. I hope you will always treasure these images & the memories that are associated with them! Much love & hugs – Carrie Joy
Loved Jessica’s gorgeous makeup by Sydney Summers of Sydney’s Shoppe of Beauty & Boutique 🙂
Jessica’s Alfred Angelo gown was simply perfect with its sparkly details and little bow in the back!
John got ready with the other guys including Best Man & brother Bryant.
Jessica & her Dad took time for a first look & it was one of the most adorable moments ever! 🙂
Jessica & John also opted for a First Look, and I love John’s sweet smile when he saw his bride for the first time! 🙂
This is one of my favorite images of the cute couple! Doesn’t Jessica look amazing in her fur stole?
Doesn’t the wedding party look stunning? I love the classic & elegant look they achieved!
After wedding party photos, it was time to head over to Christ the King Catholic Church for the Ceremony.
Aren’t the flower girls just too cute for words? I adore their tulle skirts and flower crowns!
Jessica lit up the room upon arrival, and how perfect is her gorgeous tulip bouquet?
Vows are one of my favorite moments of any ceremony; I love John’s sweet expression in these 🙂
The new Mr. & Mrs. Pair! Adorable 🙂
LOVE this one of Jessica & John – how stunning are they! 🙂
After a few moments in the gorgeous afternoon sun, it was off to the reception!
The father-daughter and mother-son dances were so incredibly sweet that I found myself wiping away tears as I photographed them!
Loved being able to take a few photos around Oakhurst Farm at sunset!
Everyone had so much fun dancing & mingling at the reception!
