Kari and Kyle – what do I say about these two? When I first met them over a year ago and they told me about this tight-knit group in the UGA band – the Sousaphone and Flagline group – and how that group of friends really brought them together, I knew I was in for a treat when their wedding day arrived. You know what though? The wedding still exceeded my expectations. The end of the night after a full day of laughing until my cheeks hurt and tearing up at the sweet exchanges between husband and wife, friends and family, I felt a twinge of sadness that the day was over. It proved to me once again that my favorite part about my job is the people. And, when you’re photographing the wedding of one of the most fun couples ever – well, it’s sure to be a good time.

Kari and Kyle – you two are the best. Seriously. I know I’ve told you many times, but y’all just make me smile. I’m so glad I had the privilege of being a part of this time in your lives and capturing your amazing wedding day. It was perfect. Full of fun and full of heart. It was amazing to witness the tears, the laughter, the dancing. I really enjoyed reliving the day (even playing the “Tootsie Roll” like in your reception) as I worked through your images. Enjoy! Kari, you are absolutely stunning!

After getting ready, we headed to the covered bridge at the Roswell Mill for the first look between Kari & Kyle!

I love when couples opt to have a First Look! It’s such a sweet moment 🙂

Oh my goodness, y’all, I am so obsessed with the gorgeous florals by Katie Loyd of Boukates! The gorgeous red blooms really popped against the blue bridesmaids’ dresses as well! LOVE!

Such a fun wedding party! Kristina and I had such a blast hanging out & capturing everyone’s fun personalities!

Aren’t the colors just perfect? They looked gorgeous with the golden yellow leaves of the trees too…

The ceremony arrangement was stunning. Peonies, pepper berry, roses… ADORE! Katie, your work is fabulous!!!

I love the way Kari & Kyle locked gazes as Kari came down the aisle. She looked amazing on her father’s arm!

And, during the ceremony there was a mixture of laughter…

… and tears as Kari and Kyle read vows they had written to one another.

And, after a few more photos to celebrate being officially husband and wife, it was time to head into the reception!

Guests took home a special coffee blend from Jittery Joe’s (a coffeeshop in Athens where Kari & Kyle met) as a favor!

The First Dance song – “All My Life” by K-Ci and Jojo – was also the first song Kari & Kyle danced to at the very start of their relationship. 🙂

The fabulous cake was made by Jennifer Punch at Confection Perfection! Gorgeous, isn’t it?

The toasts were full of emotion – a few misty eyes and lots of laughter…

Last dance song “Closing Time” by Semisonic had the happy couple jumping for joy!

And at the end of the night, Kari & Kyle exited through a path of glow sticks! Congrats again, you two 🙂
