One of my favorite parts of Ansleigh & Wes’ story revolves around when they got back together (after a short time apart) and Ansleigh said, “I always held out hope that things would work out with us.” From the very point they reconnected, the pair was inseparable, and both knew almost immediately that this was who they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with. Isn’t that darling? On an adventurous road trip to Gatlinburg, they got engaged along the river in the snow! It really doesn’t get much more dreamy & romantic than that!!
The wedding fell on an absolutely perfect fall day at the end of October. The sun sparkled as it came through the trees – as if to match Ansleigh’s sparkly Kate Spade shoes. After all, “She leaves a little sparkle wherever she goes!” – which really couldn’t be a more truthful statement about Ansleigh! She shines – inside & out! A fun morning getting ready at her Matron of Honor’s house ended with the sweetest Bridemaid Reveal on the big front porch! I just love the girls reactions! Then, Ansleigh and Wes opted for a First Look at Sims Lake Park, and I love that it meant we had absolutely perfect light for their portraits! The ceremony followed at the chapel at Ashton Gardens which included the reading of a sweet letter from Ansleigh’s grandparents and the wine box ceremony. Friends and family enjoyed an elegant dinner after the ceremony and danced into the night as we all celebrated the new Mr. and Mrs. Garrett!!
Ansleigh and Wes – I love that no matter what you guys have continued to focus on what matters most – beginning the rest of your lives together! Ansleigh, I love how sweet & genuine you are! You have been such a joy! I love the way you make Wes smile and laugh. Wes, it’s easy to see how much you adore Ansleigh, and I love seeing the strength and care you bring to the relationship. And, I just adore how you each compliment each other! Thank you for the honor of being a part of your beginning! I’m excited for you guys and all the adventures to come!
