One of the greatest things about photographing weddings is capturing the emotion; I love it all – from happy tears to squeals of delight! So, I was thrilled when Seth reached out to me a few weeks back about capturing the moment he proposed to his girlfriend Taylor! Despite the fact that I’ve photographed many Engagement sessions, there’s something so authentic & amazing about the moment of the proposal! After talking “game plan” with Seth, I hid near the lake at Piedmont Park & waited for the proposal to unfold within view of the gorgeous Atlanta skyline! It was one of the most perfect days we’ve had this winter – sunny, warm and pleasant – which was amazing (but also tricky with so many other people enjoying Piedmont Park on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon). At the perfect moment, Seth popped the question, and Taylor’s reaction was priceless! She was completely surprised, and I loved being there to capture everything from shock to joy! After the proposal, I came out from hiding, and we took some fun photos around the park! Enjoy some of my favorites below!

Seth & Taylor often bike the Beltline together and arrived at the park on bikes, so I thought it only appropriate to incorporate them into photos as well! Aren’t they cute?
After the proposal, friends and family also surprised Taylor with an Engagement party!
