One of the amazing themes of Sarah & Ryne’s wedding day was family. From the moment Sarah’s Dad teared up when he saw his daughter in her wedding dress for the first time to the marriage ceremony performed by Uncle Rick to to Grandma Louise dancing the night away with her granddaughters – the entire day was a joy! And, y’all, their wedding party was amazing! Everyone was silly, goofy & wonderfully supportive of Sarah & Ryne; I really couldn’t have asked for a better group. But despite all the other reasons Sarah & Ryne’s wedding was awesome, the best part was seeing the love between Sarah & Ryne & how amazingly happy they are together… and it was such an honor to capture that overflowing joy that my cheeks hurt at the end of the day from smiling & laughing along with them!

Sarah & Ryne, I am so excited for you both! Thank you for the privilege of capturing such a special day in your lives. I really enjoyed the time spent with you both, and your friends & family are amazing. I hope these images will always bring you joy and take you back to the fond memories of your wedding day! Much love & appreciation – Carrie Joy

Don’t you love Sarah’s pearl necklace? It’s actually an heirloom that her Dad first gave to her Mom on their wedding day! Isn’t that awesome?

I adore any chance to work with the amazing Lesley of the Bride’s Bouquet! Isn’t Sarah’s bouquet lovely?

Doesn’t Sarah look lovely in her gown from the White Swan Boutique? Stunning!

Aren’t Sarah, her sisters & Mom sweet together? Such a darling group! They were a little teary-eyed seeing Sarah in her wedding gown for the first time… And then we went into first look with Dad – get your tissues ready!

Being a daddy’s girl myself, I had a hard time keeping the tears back during this moment!

The lovely Dawn Porter created Sarah’s sophisticated bridal up do! Gorgeous!

Ryne & his men having fun & lookin’ dapper!

One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is the amazing girls I get to hang out with! Sarah, you & your girls were so much fun! Thanks for being awesome! 🙂

In lieu of a flower girl, Sarah opted for a “flower boy” who gave long stemmed red roses to the ladies & gents along the aisle just ahead of Sarah’s entrance with her Dad.

First kiss as husband & wife & then it was off to Bridgemill Country Club for photos & the reception!

Aren’t Sarah & Ryne an adorable couple?

Ryne & Sarah – y’all are so cute together! This image in black & white is one of my favorites of y’all!

Aren’t the rustic touches to the reception space adorable? I love the Bride & Groom chair signs!

Love this angle of Sarah & Ryne’s first dance shot by Kristina, my second photographer for the day!

Mid-reception, Kristen, Sarah’s sister & Maid of Honor, gave a lovely toast

You know who’s one of my new best friends? This incredible woman, Sarah’s grandmother, Louise! She is so much fun, and I loved hanging out with her during the day! Hope I grow up to be as cool as Louise one day! Check out her kissy face with all the girls!

Congratulations, Sarah & Ryne! I loved being a part of your wedding! 🙂
